Art Exhibition as a Process of Inheritance

This article responds to a comment I received while working on art projects in the Web3 community CENT. I propose ways to enjoy Art NFTs alone and a series of works through installations in the metaverse 3D space. So this article expresses an important idea for them.

I am glad you appreciate this art activity.

Multiverses and metaverses are remarkable because they enable us to share expressions across borders with a diverse range of people. In the future, more individuals will be able to recognize and act upon this. However, we must remember that being an artificial space, it may overlook the wonderful senses of the real world, which has guided us from time immemorial to the present day.

For instance, consider the elation of seeing the buds on trees that seemed withered, bloom in the warm spring after a cold winter, or the sense of intimidation as the trees gradually grow lush in the summer, threatening to overtake the buildings. These, to me, are perhaps cosmic-scale sensations derived not only from the nature of the objects but also from how they relate to the sensibilities of the living beings who perceive them.

I aspire to create works that can convey what is important to me given in this world, where I was born and raised as a living thing - human and an artist, albeit slightly, on to other parallel worlds.

An “exhibition” that allows individuals to share their expressions to gain understanding from others widely is very meaningful. However, I hope that people from other worlds will not merely view it passively as entertainment, but will absorb the spirit of the expression in my works, and then return that knowledge to their worlds and pass it on. The method is not limited to artwork creation but can be achieved through singing, dancing, or even culinary creation. While the “exhibition” is a significant event, I consider it to be just one process in a series of such inheritances.

I hope you will gain something meaningful from participating in my art events and pass it on to your world.
