What I like and want to express is the landscape of the everyday world that exists inside and outside of me.

Also, it is a landscape that changes with time on a daily basis.

I now call it sequential landscape installation art.

However, I did not start out with the conviction to create art.

I was just fascinated by the work of conceiving and giving form to such expressions.

And, I am still continuing.

My daily work can be roughly divided into five steps.

1. I take pictures of my favourite landscapes with a digital camera from the same location and from the same angle over a period of years.

2. From a sufficient amount of photos, I select those that fit the theme I want to express and arrange them in chronological order.

3. process them on the computer to match my own senses and ideas.

4. Print them.

5. Further paint, mixed media and installation to create a tangible object.

The computer processing in the process of these tasks is very interesting.

In the process of selecting the form, I want to focus on a large volume of data

It is as if other expressions are mixed in with the expression I was expecting when I took the picture.

And I feel a sense of creativity expanding.

So, I will introduce what I arranged into digital work with the computer processing on this site.

僕の好きなもの、表現したいと思うものは、

自分の内と外に存在する日常世界の風景、それも日々の時間ととともに移りゆく風景なのです。

今はシーケンシャル・ランドスケープ・インスタレーション・アートと名付けています。

しかし、アートを作ろうという確信から始めたわけではありません。

ただそういう表現を構想し、形にするという作業に魅入られ、今も続けているのです。

日頃の僕の作品制作作業を説明すると、おおまかに5つの工程に分けられるでしょう。

1.　気に入った風景を同じ場所から、同じアングルで何年もデジカメで撮り続けます。

2.　満足できるだけの量の写真の中から表現したいテーマに合ったものを選り分け時系列に並べます。

3.　自分の感覚と考えに合わせるようにコンピューターで加工します。

4.　それをプリントします。

5.　更にペイントやミクストメディア、インスタレーションによって有形なものに仕上げます。

それらの作業の過程の中におけるコンピューター加工というのはとても興味深いものです。

大容量のデータの中から自分の焦点を合わせたい形を選び出す過程の中で、

写真を撮ったときの自分の期待していた表現に他の表現が混じってくるような気がするのです。

そして、何か創造が広がるような感覚を覚えるのです。

というわけで、そのコンピューター加工で作品にしたものをこのサイトでは紹介していきます。
